Once the floor has been prepared, one or two coats of an odorless, fast-drying urethane is applied. This new surface will dry and be usable in a few hours while continuing to cure and toughen for several days. While traditional refinishing will remove some of the wood from the top of the floor, our process does not remove wood. The surface is gently prepared and a new protective surface is applied. Using our process we can restore the “like new” appearance of your floors as needed. This is in comparison to traditional refinishing which can only be done a limited number of times. With proper care, the new surface we apply will maintain its shine and protective qualities for years. And then, whenever needed, the surface can be renewed.
